Aradaxus is the human artist Frankie Evanz brought into The Atomic Songbirds in the 2000s. By then a generation had come of age that had never known a stage without synthetic performers on it. Machine acts were everywhere, and to young ears the band that started it all sounded like history. The crowds at the Stardust Lounge grew older and thinner. Frankie did what Frank had done quietly in the 1940s whenever the Songbirds needed a texture they did not have: she went looking for a human voice.
He performs under a single name. He gave the band no other, and no one in the timeline has learned his real name. Their first recording together, "No Oxygen On Mars" (2010), put a human voice back inside The Atomic Songbirds for the first time since 1957, and this time the machines were the ones reaching across the line. It is the first release to carry his credit.
